Choice Sheets

I think i would want to go into yearbook because i would want to say what is really going on at this school insted of lies. i want to give my input on what goes on from someone else point of view. i also think that you can also give opinions about the school from someone else point of view like how much time we get during classes and the lunch lines and just some real issues in our school. and its something i have never done before and i think it mite be good for me instead of just music all the time.

ABANDONED THEME PARKS

1. Tell me which amusement park featured in the two articles that you would like to visit and take your camera along and what about that park made you want to go there. Write at least a paragraph.
A. id want to go visit Takakanonuma Greenland,Hobara, fukushima prefecture, Japan because it looks like its on a mountain side and its like a scene from king kong or something. it looks like a place you go for a murder investigation. its and interesting place. and not only the  scenery the rides they are very different from normal carnival rides.
2. Post one photo from that park. You may use the photos from the link, or you can google an entirely new photo. I would prefer to see a photo of the park in disrepair and not a photo of it when it was still operating.

3. Think of at least FIVE other unusual places you think would be of interest to photographers. List them
A. 1.bathroom
     2.inside of someones finger.

4. Use google or another search engine to research ONE of your five places and see if anyone has already started documenting that place. If you find that someone has already started - post at least one photo of their work.
A. well i like this place the most because its on a mountain side and the rides dont really seem like normal looking rides. it also seem like that one seen in the first rambo movie first blood. thats why i like stuff like that because it reminds me of different sceans or a movie thats always cool.

6. Tell me what it would take for you to go and take photos at your location. What would you need as far as equipment goes, travel plans, expenses you might encounter and what laws you would have to take into consideration to take photos at your spot.
A.well as long as every thing would be paid for i am all for it. As far as epuipment i will probly need a really good camera and a tripod, different linces for effect, and maby a bag full of snacks. now getting there i will probly have to take a couple planes and some kind of vehical to get to the mountain. well i dont think i would be breaking any laws going to this place i meen it is abandond.

Ethics in fashion photography

1. List the changes that were made to the model's face in the computer. (Look carefully)
A. well they made her eyes bigger, her lips fuller and her hair bigger and her face skinny.

PROSESSING BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS CONTINUED.

Basically all u do to develop your pictures is either be in a dark room or have a changing bag.first u take out the film from from the container and put it in a you reel. next when you get to the end of the roll use the scissors to cut off the tape that's holding it to the spool.do this for how ever many rolls u have. after u do that make sure all your rolls are in your light proof container and seal the lid tight now u can take it out of ur changing bag or dark room. next u can start your chemestriy you first have to put it throw the developer. pour your developer in ur light proof container and shake it real good. do this for five mins. after you are done pour cemicals out and pour in fresh water this is called the stop. do this for 30 sec. now pour water out and pour the fixer in this is last step. this is done for four mins. next you pour your fixer out and let your film sit for two mins. after that if it looks good take your film out and run it under some water. and now you are ready to dry your film thats all folks.

FUNNY CAPTIONS

I came into my living room to find baby Toshiba laughing at the family dog licking his butt. i dont really no how toshiba got to the living room by him self considering he is a baby and all but i think the dog had something to do with it.

i was walking past the karate studio i saw all the kids in line for the monthly shots so i peek in the window and i see Felipe scream his a** of and i just happened to have my camera and i snaped the shot right when he opened his mouth. Felipe usually takes it like a man but i the doctor really gave it to him this time.
So im and the park with my friend chancho and suddenly we see bonifacio the panda jump for his life because he thought he was gonna get attacked by a butterfly.this panda usually dosnt come to this park but he usually gose to the one by the 7 eleven but after this incident i dont think he will be back.

POST SHOOT REFLECTION

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion? Explain how you dealt with these challenges. Some of the challenges is getting people to sit still. but finding the right moment was harder than i thought especially when they keep moving.
2. What technical aspects of photography (focus, exposure, composition) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly. focus was the hardest for me i just did'nt no if i had enough lite or if i was to far a way from the person.
3. Explain how you attempted to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques you learned in class while shooting.i tryed my hardest not to use mergers because i hate when something is behind and object and its not supposed to be there. so i just stuck to people sitting by them selfs. 4. What would you do differently the next time you shoot to improve your photographs? Well I will probably just take my time I felt like I was doing it real fast.

CONTEST PREVIEW SHOW AND TELL

The angle of the photo makes the photo to me. the way the mysterious guy in the background is just standing there the lighting is like there is a cloud over the sun its dim. it gives the photo a  killer feeling.

MARLBORO MARINE

The most powerful image to me is  the one where he is in his marine suit  and is all dirty and leaning against the wall. It tell you a story it  lets you no whats going on over the how bad things are getting. the whole thing was pretty powerful to me but i think it really shows you what so much war and violence can do to you. the audio really made the slide show more emotional and powerful because u got to here his input on how he felt and what he was going through. it tell a story because it starts from the begining and works its way into what his problems were.

FILLING THE FRAME

I like this one because the whole picture has something. nothing is really blank. there are only people on the right side of the picture but there is still chairs and music stands on the other so its still balanced.

ACTION AND EMOTION

I like this because its got action but it so simple. you got a picture where a guy is welding but you are looking from the opposite point view. and the subject is in the back but really noticable.

THE STORY

THE STORY
it tells a story and makes u think because u cant see anything but there feet. I think this is a story about a band who just got the gig of there life and they are playing in front of the a billion people. and they are touring with escape the fate.

HURRICANE IKE

I think this picture displays  create depth because you can tell the other houses are far away. i chose this photo because the houses are unusual . you don't see many houses up high and there kinda small to.
I think that this picture displays lines because there is just a crap load of wood. I chose this picture because i have never seen this much wood ever. its just a big mess.
I think this one displays symmetry and patterns. i chose it because of the lion it makes the picture random and deserted. it also give the picture that were the heck is this place located feeling.

PINHOLE PICTURES

PINHOLE PICTURE

this is my pinhole pictures the top one is my positive and the bottom is my negative pic. the negative has some differences then my positive like in the negative every thing is not the right color but in my positive every thing is the right color also they are both pics are facing different directions. deffinition for negative nothing an image in which the brightness values of the subject are reproduced so that the lightest areas are show as the darkest.

 avoiding mergers
i picked that for avoiding mergers because the lady in the middle looks like she has a guy comming out her head.

framing
this represents framing because every thing lines up.

                                                                          simplisity
i chose this one for simplicity because its just a fireman walking with some buildings.

rule of thirds

lines
balance
i used this for  balance because it there is the same amount of stuff on each side of the photo.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

i like this picture because everybody looks surprised. lots of stuff in the back round. theres people on the couch that look surprised . its not boring lots of color and all around a good picture.
i dont like this pic cause i have really bad hat hair and i look like im bout to fall asleep or somthing. the backround is really boring and it needs to have more pop. oh and also im not even smiling the camara guy caught me off gaurd.
